3 deaths and 249 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 2,868 samples taken from UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which, 249 cases resulted positive.
Within 24 hours 3 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 2 cases (42, 86 years old) and Vushtrri 1 case (76 years old). The total number of positive cases is 64,768 out of 271,493 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,548. During the last 24 hours, 316 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 56,344 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,876.
