She has broken all state records in athletics, but she has not achieved the same successes in the international arena because the lack of infrastructure in Kosovo has prevented Gresa Bakraqi from being on an equal level with her rivals.

In an interview for KosovaPress, the athlete from Peja has openly shown how much the lack of adequate infrastructure has penalized her in order to succeed even outside of Kosovo.

In the absence of conditions in her country, Bakraqi shows how in severe economic conditions she has found ways to go to training camps in other countries.

Finally, Bakraqi was part of the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games, but failed to enter the medal zone there.
