The President of the Kosovo Police Union, Imer Zeqiri, emphasized that 14 demands of the police were reviewed in the meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla and the director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha.

Zeqiri said that the meeting was hopeful and it was decided that the requirements of the Kosovo Police will be analyzed which will be fulfilled quickly and which later.

He said he hopes that the situation will continue with dialogue until the demands are met.

Likewise, Zeqiri added that it is time to improve the well-being of the Kosovo police. He said that the next meeting will be held in January next year.

Meanwhile, members of the Special Intervention Unit (SUI) and police officers from other sectors and their union, two weeks ago protested in front of the Government of Kosovo to demand the fulfillment of demands for dangerousness allowances, salaries, clothing and care for the well-being of family members of the police. /A.
