Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons (21) suffered a ligament injury and will be out for several weeks, the German team announced today.

The Dutch midfielder, who has scored three goals and two assists for the German Bundesliga club this season, was injured on Wednesday in the match against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Simons is on loan at Leipzig from PSG, with a deal that ends at the end of June 2025.
