The parliamentary group of Vetëvendosje accuses the parliamentary investigative commission for the process of subsidizing the purchase of school textbooks 2023/2024, of having violated the law on parliamentary investigation and the regulation of the Assembly, and that the draft report from this commission was drawn up in the PDK offices for propaganda.
The reaction of the parliamentary group of Vetëvendosje comes after the failure to hold the last meeting in the absence of a quorum.
In a press conference, deputy Armend Muja said that the opposition in the commission sabotaged and violated the procedural deadlines for interviewing 66 witnesses and that the draft report was drawn up in the offices of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
The other deputy from the LVV, Arbër Rexha, has announced that they will ask the Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca that the last meeting of the parliamentary investigative commission is not considered held.
In yesterday's meeting it was planned to interview the witnesses Fadile Dyla, general secretary of MASHTI, Avni Rexha, acting director of the Department of Pre-University Education and Genc Hamzaj from the Information Society Agency - ASH.
In the absence of a quorum, the chairman of the commission, Shemsedin Dreshaj, said that the deputies from the government are still not present. Meanwhile, PDK deputy, Ardian Kastrati, said that the report should be sent to the prosecutor's office, so that the latter deals with the process of subsidizing school textbooks.
