The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, has today added another request, in addition to those submitted by the head of the European Union's Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, on Thursday for Kosovo.

Von Cramon has requested an investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators of the attacks against KFOR soldiers in the north.

She expressed her gratitude to the KFOR troops and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Head of Foreign Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, yesterday listed three clear demands for resolving the situation in the north of Mitrovica.

"We have 3 clear demands: New immediate local elections, ensuring the participation of Kosovo Serbs, starting work on the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities within the dialogue mediated by the EU," Borrell wrote on Twitter.

Otherwise, the Serbs in the north started the protest on Friday (May 26). Protesters with masks and those without masks have used violence against members of KFOR, Kosovo Police and journalists. They threw various things at the peacekeepers, until they damaged media vehicles. As a result of the violent protests, 30 KFOR soldiers were injured, while the Serbs also attacked the Kosovo Police and journalists./KosovaPress
