VMRO DPMNE and the VLEN coalition agreed during a meeting today on the general principles of cooperation for the future government and that after the formation of the working groups, the talks will continue until their finalization.

Within the scope of this program, ALSAT learns that in the framework of the country's strategic commitment to the EU, VLEN has requested immediate abandonment and distancing from initiatives that contradict this goal.
VLEN demands the immediate withdrawal of North Macedonia from the Open Balkans initiative. This idea, as Alsat learns, has also been accepted by VMRO DPMNE, although there is still no official position on it, writes the medium from North Macedonia.
The Open Balkans is a regional initiative aimed at improving the movement of goods, services and people. It was founded in 2019 by the heads of Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, initially under the name "Mini Schengen".
Despite calls for inclusion, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo refused to join. The remarks of some of these countries were that this initiative strengthens Serbia.
