Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will attend the funeral ceremony of the Archbishop of Albania, Anastas Janullatos, in Tirana.

Top Channel reports that the head of the Greek government will arrive in Albania on Thursday.

The reception of the body of the late archbishop will take place in front of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana, on January 28 at 16:00 p.m. Homage will be held inside the temple that afternoon and on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., after the Divine Liturgy.

Janullatos passed away the day before at the age of 95 in a hospital in Athens. He was elected archbishop of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania by the Patriarch of Constantinople in January 1991.
