As part of the implementation of the operational plan "Strike 2023", the rapid response unit in cooperation with the narcotics investigation department in Gjilan, last night stopped a vehicle for routine checks.

During the control of the persons who were in the vehicle, suspect LH (year of birth 2004, Kosovar Albanian male) was found with a suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance weighing 26.11 grams.

According to the Police, during the investigation of this case, evidence was found that the second suspect DI, born in 2002, Kosovar Albanian male, is also involved in this case.

Both suspects were arrested and interviewed based on legal procedures.

The state prosecutor has issued a 48-hour detention order against both suspects and they will be charged with the criminal offense of "unauthorized possession of narcotic, psychotropic or analogous substances".
