The match between the teams from the middle of the table in the Premier League between Manchester United and Tottenham ended with the victory of the guests - 0:3.

The hosts enter the field with eight points behind the leader Liverpool, after two defeats from the first five games of the new edition of the competition, and the confrontation with Tottenham was an opportunity to get the team back on track.

However, the match at "Old Trafford" started with a cold "shower" for the "Red Devils", after the goal scored in the third minute by Brennan Johnson.

Scoring the unexpected goal made Erik ten Hag's team more aggressive on the pitch, making harsh tackles on opposing players, for which midfielder Bruno Fernandes was punished with a red card in the 42nd minute, leaving him thus the team in trouble with one less player going forward.

In the second half, Tottenham capitalized on the lead through Dejan Kulusevski in the 47th minute, who registered his first personal goal in the Premier League, while Dominic Solanke sealed the convincing victory in the 77th minute for the epilogue - 0:3.

This is Tottenham's third win in six games, taking them into eighth position in the table with 10 points, while the Red Devils remain 7 points in 12th place, which they could lose if Bournemouth wins in tomorrow's home match against bottom-placed Southampton.

In the other match of the sixth round of the Premier League today, the teams Ipswich Town and Aston Villa were separated peacefully by playing in a draw - 2:2.

We remind you that Liverpool leads the table with 15 points, followed by Manchester City and Arsenal with one less point each.
