The Serbian List and the so-called Office for Kosovo canceled the salaries of ten workers in the Municipality of Leposaviq, who obeyed the decision to leave the institutions of Kosovo in November 2022. The same are saying that they have been seriously deceived by the Serbian state and that what what is happening in the north of Kosovo is terror caused by Lista Serbe.

The Serbian workers who were left without wages have addressed an open letter to the institutions in Serbia and the Serbian List, saying that they will ask the Kosovo institutions to allow them to return to their workplaces.

"We will appeal to all authorities, both state and international institutions, because what is happening here in the north of Kosovo is terror from the representatives of the Serbian List. it is not like that in North Korea either", they declare.

"Now people are left without salaries and no one wants to listen to them," writes a page of the Serbian community on Facebook.

Full letter to workers from Leposaviqi:

"We are informing the public both in Kosovo and Serbia about the recent illegal decisions and actions of the representatives of the Serbian List, the mayor of the municipality of Leposaviq and the director of the Office for Kosovo, and this is that 10 workers in the municipality of Leposaviq have been suspended personal incomes, i.e. salaries even though we regularly performed our work duties and were at their workplaces.

At the invitation of our country, Serbia, in November 2022, we all resigned from our positions in the Kosovo system and switched to the Serbian system, ie. The Republic of Serbia started paying us our salary.

We received that salary until yesterday, when all other colleagues received their salary, except the 10 of us.

Therefore, we now publicly ask all the competent institutions, the mayor of Leposaviq Municipality and the director of the Office for Kosovo, since they already know this and are directly behind this illegal decision, and we also ask the president Vuçiq why our salary has been suspended from which we support and feed our children is not only our salary has been suspended but also our right to work and the right to a normal life has been taken away and it is the only thing we need What we have to do now is to leave Kosovo with our families.

In recent days we had the opportunity to listen to representatives of the Serbian List how we should live in a democratic society and basic human rights and freedoms should be ensured for all citizens in the north of Kosovo, so now we ask them publicly if these rights to work and the right to live have now been taken away from us by Albanians or representatives of the Serbian List and our country Serbia?

Apart from the institutions of the Republic of Serbia and the President Vuçiq, we will be forced to turn to the institutions of Pristina to return us to our places of work where we were even before November 2022, since as things are now, the institutions in Serbia do not need us and we have been badly deceived by our country Serbia because of the call for resignations we gave.

We will appeal to all authorities, both state and international institutions, because what is happening here in the north of Kosovo is terror from the representatives of the Serbian List. not even in North Korea."
