The Municipality of Pristina has asked the citizens to make alternative parking solutions or to use public transport from Urban Traffic, since due to the football match between Kosovo and Israel, the parking lot on "Dritan Hoxha" street will be closed according to the request of the Kosovo Police.
The Kosovo Police has announced that in cooperation and coordination with the Kosovo Football Federation and the relevant actors, they have taken the necessary measures for the smooth running of the Kosovo-Israel match, from 20:45, at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium, in Pristina.
"In the organization of this match of special importance for the Republic of Kosovo and the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK), as always, the FFK, the Kosovo Police (PK) have been engaged in terms of security, as well as the company of private insurance for security in the internal perimeter. Based on mutual cooperation with the FFK and all relevant actors, as well as based on information and operational assessments, the operational police order has been drawn up, which aims to: General security before, during and after the match, increasing measures of security, maintaining order, peace and public safety, undertaking the necessary police measures against possible illegal actions and combating all negative phenomena that cause instability, preventing, combating negative phenomena and possible criminal acts that to any extent will to endanger public peace, the increase of preliminary security measures and the control of potential crowds before, during and after the sports event both in the perimeter of the stadium and also, as necessary, in the city, squares, etc. protection of life and public and private property", the announcement states.
The addition of traffic surveillance and control measures, in order to ensure the normal and optimal flow of traffic participants, including the reorientation of traffic along the crossing of the escorts, where there will be temporary traffic interruptions, therefore full understanding is required from the citizens.
"The road around the stadium will be blocked for vehicle traffic, only pedestrian traffic is allowed. The Kosovo Police will be stationed in the security perimeter, in which case they will filter the viewers for not allowing the carrying of unauthorized or dangerous items at the entrance gates, etc. Among other things, the rules for entering the stadium are also included, so citizens/participants in the stadium who have secured tickets are asked to take into account and adhere to the aforementioned rules, including: The opening of the stadium doors will take place at 18:00 , where it is recommended to arrive at the stadium earlier, due to avoiding traffic jams and creating easier and faster access to the stadium. Possession of the identification document together with the ticket is required, as those who do not possess tickets will not be able to approach the stadium gates. Vehicles for access to the official parking lot must be equipped with a parking PASS, otherwise parking in that area will not be allowed (with the exception of FFK vehicles and persons equipped with a VIP ticket). While the things that are not allowed include: Pyrotechnic devices, Glass bottles regardless of size, Plastic bottles regardless of size, Alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances, food of any kind (except food for children 24 months old), umbrellas, firearms or cold weapons or whatever other means that can be used as weapons, heavy items (backpacks, folding chairs, etc.), professional cameras and video cameras, any racist, xenophobic, political, religious promotional material. Through the close cooperation and coordination between the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Football Federation and other actors, it is planned to take these necessary measures, in order to manage and run this sports match as best as possible, which is of interest national for the country and sport", the announcement continues.
The Kosovo Police thanks the citizens for their continuous cooperation and at the same time asks them to respect the above rules as much as possible, otherwise they may be subject to punishment by legal bodies.
