The Assembly has approved the Draft Law on property rights of foreign citizens in Kosovo. An article of this draft law enables citizens from the Presheva Valley to have ownership of their property in Kosovo. However, there is no agreement of the entire majority in each draft law. Only 48 MPs participated in the vote on the draft law on civil status.
The majority was also against the draft law on vehicles, where nine MPs voted for it, while 52 MPs were against it.
While requesting the support of this draft law, the deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mërgim Lushtaku said that there are many families who cannot afford to buy new cars.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Environment Committee, Fitore Pacolli, expressed her opposition to this proposal.
