The legendary commander Adem Jashari would be 69 years old today if he were alive.
He was born on November 28, 1955 in Prekaz of Skenderaj. He was the third son of Shaban and Zahide Jashari. He graduated from the technical secondary school in Skenderaj.
After the extinction of all the institutions of Kosovo in 1990, the idea to organize in a military aspect takes on a new dimension, from the LPK, which still did not act completely publicly. On November 3, 1991, a group of activists went to Albania to conduct appropriate military exercises and train for armed struggle.
The Serbian secret services track down the armed formation and the Serbian police learn to surround and capture it. On December 30, 1991, the Serbian police-military expedition took action to occupy the group.
