The Serbian parties in Kosovo competing in the February 9 elections have not offered a program for the Serbian community, while there are also complaints of attempted vote buying, says the coordinator of the coalition of non-governmental organizations 'Democracy in Action' for the northern region, Dušan Radaković.

In an interview with KosovaPress, Rakovic, who is also the executive director of the Center for Representation of Democratic Culture in north Mitrovica, also says that Serbian parties have commented more on the statements of state leaders in Kosovo and Serbia than they have dealt with the problems of citizens from this community.

"Interestingly, the parties have not discussed anything about their programs and priorities, they have talked more about the corruption of others...", says Radakovic..

He also talks about the complaints of the "Serbian Democracy" party, which has accused other entities of removing their posters and preparing to buy votes on election day.

An incident between Serbian subjects occurred two days ago in Gracanica. The Kosovo Serb Party was obstructed during a gathering of citizens by a Serbian List candidate for MP in the February 9 elections.

However, Radakovic expects that on Sunday (February 9th), there will be a peaceful and incident-free election process.

"Serbian Democracy has twice reported cases where unknown persons have removed their posters... There are complaints from the Serbian Democracy party against SPO [Sloboda, Pravda, Opstanak] for preparing vote buying, and both of these cases are with the police," says Radakovic.

He also provides details about the way Serbian parties organize their election activities. He says that they have not identified any cases of using children in the campaign.
