One person was injured after a physical attack that occurred on Friday afternoon in Pristina.

According to the Kosovo Police, the victim, a Kosovar male, was returning home when he was physically attacked with strong weapons by his ex-son-in-law. As a result of the blows, the victim suffered injuries and was sent for medical treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK).

After the attack, the suspect fled the scene in a car and is currently on the run. Kosovo Police have arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation, while the state prosecutor has also been notified of the case.

Authorities are searching for the suspect, while investigations are continuing to fully unravel the case.
