The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has announced new services in the general hospitals of Kosovo, including the one in Gjakova.
He said that from now on citizens will have easy and quick access to health services.
"In the last three years, numerous investments in the Eye Department in Gjakova. Cataract surgery with the modern phacoemulsification method also started today. The advantages of this method include only 10-15 minutes, local anesthesia, no pain, small incision of 2.8 mm, excellent vision after the operation, quick return to work after a few days", Vitia wrote on Facebook.
According to him, health personnel are constantly being trained to provide quality services, which affects the saving of the family budget, since this service in the private sector costs 600 to 800 euros.
"We continue with investments and new services in our public hospitals", concluded Vitia.
