With the motto "Run without limits", the Athletics Federation of Kosovo is organizing today the ??th edition of the marathon and half-marathon "Prishtina 2024 ".

The leaders of the Federation, the organizational council and the municipality of Pristina, have announced the details, saying that the registration has so far exceeded the number of 500, making it one of the editions with the largest participation ever.

According to the FAK chairman, the reason for this is the increase in the value of the rewards.

The novelty is also the participation of the European champion in the 3000 meter steeplechase, Luiza Gega, who will run in the 42 kilometer discipline.

In the meantime, the citizens of Kosovo have been called to register and join the marathon, either in the 2-kilometer, 5-kilometer, or even 10, 21, and 42-kilometer races.

According to Kushtrim Mushicë, director of sports in the Municipality of Pristina, the event takes place within the framework of the epithet that the capital has received this year "Prishtina, European city of sports".
