On Monday, she gave birth to her second child. Blerina Ibrahimi is very satisfied with the services she received at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, after the renovations that were done there. Other pregnant women are also satisfied, who say that during their stay there they found comfort "like at home".

The renovations made in this clinic have created opportunities for better quality services and greater comfort even for newborns.

The improvement of the infrastructure in this Clinic has also created opportunities for the provision of new services.

The reduction of beds in a room, the nurse call system, the toilet in the room, and the new devices that are already operational are some of the improvements that have facilitated the stay and treatment of mothers and babies at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.

"The birth process went very well, fortunately without complications and I am very satisfied with the care and everything else that happened both in the delivery room and after the birth... I am not lucky enough to have my first birth here , but I am very satisfied with what I saw, with the care of the sisters, hygiene, cleanliness, everything at the level", says Blerina Ibrahmi.

Since Wednesday, when she gave birth at the Gynecology Clinic near the KKUK, there is also a mother who told KosovaPress about her good experience at this clinic.

She says that during these days of hospitalization in KOGJ she feels like at home, thanks to much better conditions, but also to the care of health professionals.

"I gave birth on Wednesday morning, from the delivery room to here I have no complaints, even there in the room it was very good. They looked after us very well, but also very well here... The care is very good both from the sisters {nurses} and from the doctors and the conditions are much better. I heard earlier that they said that such things are bad, the opposite, very good, I am very satisfied, as if I were in my own home", says this mother.

The director of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic, Zef Ndrejaj, says that thanks to the renovations done this year, in addition to the working conditions, the hygienic aspect has also improved.

As a result, he adds, the number of outpatient services has also increased.

"Each patient is more satisfied with the conditions and treatment provided at the Gynecology Clinic. In addition to the working conditions, the hygienic conditions have also improved, because with the new infrastructure the maintenance of the wards or rooms is much more pleasant and better... In the wards which have been renovated, the rooms that used to have 7-8 beds now have only from 2 beds in the room and with the sanitary unit or the bathroom inside the room, which greatly improves the hygienic conditions and the treatment of patients after childbirth, they have an easier and more accessible approach usable to stay and with the best possible treatment conditions", emphasizes Ndrejaj.

With the investments made in this KKUK clinic, opportunities have also been created for the provision of new services.

The fetal unit has been completed and is providing services, while the IVF service is expected to start by the end of this year.

"Besides the best services, we also have additional services that we have done. We have arranged the complete fetal unit, it is an almost separate ward with four offices, two new ultrasounds of the latest technology, we have started with that unit that serves patients to detect fetal abnormalities in the earliest stages, for have access to treat them... The next service that I am saying is expected is the service within this month, I believe by the end of this year is the IVF service... Now we have the best possible equipment that serve for IVF procedures and I believe that towards the end of the year we will start with patients. First, their treatment by taking anamnesis, analysis, intervention and IVF procedure", says the director of the KOGJ.

With the renovations, the work of the support staff has also been facilitated.

The acting head nurse of the prenatal report, Qamile Zeqiraj, indicates that the satisfaction of patients for the services they receive has increased.

She is happy that the capacities of midwives have also increased in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.

"The regulation of the infrastructure has greatly facilitated our work as providers of services, it has also facilitated the work for patients as well as the satisfaction of patients is much greater, the conditions are better, there is more comfort... This year 20 midwives have been admitted, which means that there is enough coverage in the wards, they have been distributed in proportion to the needs of the wards", she emphasizes.

Renovations in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic took place this year and were carried out by the Ministry of Health.

Last year, over 7 babies were born in this clinic.
