After the October elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the leaders of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina of the RS entity met many times, but there was a constant tension in the air, there was no apparent closeness that graced them before.
For some time, the relationship between Alexander Vuçiqit and Milorad Dodikut are not in perfect harmony.
The live broadcast of the "Protest against violence" in Belgrade on Una TV, whose owner is Igor Dodik, the son of Milorad Dodik, surprised the protesters on the streets, but much more, and not pleasantly, the authorities in Serbia. Una TV recently got a city frequency in Belgrade. One of the most unpleasantly surprised was the owner of the tabloid 'Informer' Dragan J. Vučičević. For days on national television, he complained about the fact that the Dodik family dared to go straight with Serbia's enemies and became part of the "worst Serbian scum." To this, Gorica Dodik, the daughter of the president of Bosnia-Herzegovina entity "Republika Srpska" responded with: "Shame on you, Dragan J. Vučičević", writes Aljazeera.
She didn't wait long for an answer. "Shame to have Gorica Dodik. You with your television lined up on the side of the anti-Serbian scum. Enough with your lies and deceptions," Vučičević replied.
The correspondence lasted. Everything and everyone was there - who loved whom with and without money, who had "the one" that ended a long time ago and much more. One would say - riot in paradise. And it is not impossible. The fact is that for some time the relationship between Alexander Vuçiqit and Milorad Dodikut are not in perfect harmony. All this allegedly started even before the last elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, when Dodik did not receive it, and expected the support of the "president of all Serbs". After those elections, there were dozens of meetings between the two, but tension was constantly felt in the air. There was no apparent intimacy that graced them and it has remained so to this day.
Media alignment on the side of the enemy
It's no secret that Vuçiq is not very satisfied with the statements he hears every day from Dodik, because all this leads to the expansion of the agenda on which the president of Serbia has been working for 11 years. Despite the fact that he may share Dodik's views, it is certain that it would be more suitable for him if there were no such ripples from RS at this time. The climax of the "disagreement" was the recording of Dodik's analysis of Novak Djokovic's family, made in the studio of Radio Television of Serbia before the official start of the interview, ended up in public. Belgrade was restrained regarding this situation, in the same way as it behaves when Dodik speaks in Belgrade about the independence of the RS, the union with Serbia...
Dodik directly blamed Belgrade for that incident, instead of blaming himself for speaking such words in such a place. He did not think that the whole game could have been planned by someone from Banja Luka, that is, from Radio Television of RS, which received the signal for that performance. Dodik's real reaction was expected and - it followed.
The President of RS is certainly not someone who forgets easily and does not remember. The live broadcast of protests against the government in Serbia on TV Una is not accidental, nor is the respect for journalistic norms which should be the main motive. For any newsroom, a protest of several tens of thousands of people would be a reporting priority, but not for media in Serbia that support Vuçiqin. Those figures in the media manipulation of Serbian citizens and in direct cooperation with Vuçiqin has been blinded by the fact that TV Una "betrayed".
What in the democratic world is something that is an obligation of the media, in Serbia it is "alignment with the enemy". What is worse is the impression that TV Una did not broadcast the protests directly because it is the professional obligation of the media, but to "equalize" their results. It would be interesting if Dodik's television in Serbia would continue to inform the citizens of Belgrade about what is really happening and not if the information would depend on the current relations between the "two rams in a log". This is the biggest problem in Serbian journalism today. It's all about political decisions and how it suits the politicians.
Another swallow will fly from the nest Vuçiqit
And this is not the first time Vuçiq is not satisfied with what is happening in the media field when it comes to Dodik. The same Vuçiq criticized Dodik because TV N1 got a national frequency in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is not disputed that the owner of Informer believes that such a decision could not have been made without Dodik's consent, but we are all together in a problem when all decisions depend on one man. Regardless of whether it is Belgrade or Banja Luka. There is a famous saying that enemies are kept closer, and friends are even closer. Especially when it comes to politics. Everything that was valid until yesterday does not have to be valid today. Dodik, however, did not give up Vuçiq. He is ready, as he says, to provide transportation to Belgrade for any RS citizen who wants to participate in the rally. Vuçiqit on May 26. Earlier the gathering of Vuçiqit was also supported by Dodik's opponent Jelena Triviq, which in the world of Vuçiqit and Vučičević can say a lot.
