The testing of teachers is a topic that is being discussed from time to time, but for a long time now. The idea came from the Ministry of Education, but was opposed by the Education Union.

In this regard, KosovaPress has conducted a survey on "Should teachers be tested?", in which 282 people voted, and the majority of them, or 211 people or 73.78 percent, voted in favor of testing, whereas, 73 people or 25.52 percent have opposed the testing of teachers.

Meanwhile, only two people answered that they do not know.

The comments about this issue have been more diverse. Agron Ademi wrote that the Minister of Education should be tested first, then the University professors and finally the teachers.

However, Renda Cakaj Morina wrote that they should not be tested since we are left without teachers.

And Nesim Halili wrote that Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Government should be tested because the teachers were tested when they graduated.

"Don't underestimate the teachers, but educate the children to adhere to the school rules, to go to class with books and notebooks, etc., not like vagabonds with their hands in their pockets", he said.

Orhan Laloshi wrote that they should definitely be tested, but only those teachers who are 5 years before retirement should not take the test.
