The municipality of Mitrovica has decided to allocate 20 euros in aid to the Brahimi family from Kçiqi, which was affected by the gas cylinder explosion.

The news was announced by the mayor of Mitrovica Bedri Hamza through a post today on Facebook.

"With the aim of helping the Brahimi family, affected by the explosion last night, the Municipality of Mitrovica will take a decision on the allocation of 20,000 euros", he wrote, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

According to the Mitrovica Police, 13 people were injured in an explosion from a gas cylinder last night in Kçic, Mitrovica.

The injured persons were sent for medical treatment to the regional hospital in Mitrovica, from where they were transferred to KKUK where four of them underwent surgery due to second and third degree burns.
