The United Union of Education, Science and Culture will hold a protest today with demands for salary increases and the signing of the collective contract, otherwise it threatens strikes.

The trade unionists are dissatisfied with the decision of the Government of Kosovo to increase salaries and at the same time with the absence of the Collective Contract.

The protest starts at 12:30, at the National Library of Kosovo, from where it will continue to the MESTI facility, where the demands will be revealed and a meeting with the Minister Arbërie Nagavci will be requested, in an effort to reach an acceptable agreement for both parties.

The protest will then continue until the Government of Kosovo and is expected to end at 15:00.

Yesterday, Minister Nagavci hosted the leaders of SBASHK, but the meeting ended without any results.

The president of the SBASHK, Rrahman Jasharaj, has warned that about 2.000 education workers from all over Kosovo will participate in the protest and it will also be decided there for other union actions.
