The topic of early elections in Kosovo has been updated after the meeting between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, this meeting took place after the invitation of the chief executive.

The largest opposition party had accepted the invitation until the meeting was rejected by the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

KosovaPress has conducted a survey where citizens have voted for a week on the question of whether the next government will be formed between the ruling party, Vetëvendosje Movement, and the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Of the 633 pollsters who participated, 32 percent or 206 of them voted for this coalition, while 363 pollsters or 57 percent voted against.

Meanwhile, 64 participants or another 10 percent in the survey said that they "don't know" if the next government will be LVV-PDK.

The chairman of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, after the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, had emphasized the need to hold early elections. He said that new elections are a need of the citizens, as he said after the successive failures of the Kurti government.
