The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, shared today a photo from the Kosovo judo team, which managed to win a medal at the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games.

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed himself happy and proud that he is their friend and that they respect Kosovo worldwide and serve the Armed Forces of Albania.

"Happy and proud that I am your friend, and that you honor Kosovo worldwide and serve the Armed Forces of Albania", wrote Edi Rama on Facebook.

The Kosovo Olympic team managed to win two Olympic medals in Paris 2024. The Olympic champion from Tokyo 2020, Distria Krasniqi, won the silver medal in the category up to 52 kilograms in judo, while Laura Fazliu won the bronze medal in her debut.
