The Special Prosecution of Kosovo has confirmed today's raids at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, regarding the renovation of the facility used by AAK, now under the management of the ministry.

The statement states that this was done with the aim of verifying allegations or suspicions raised in public opinion regarding the actions of some public officials of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the renovation of the facility used by AAK, now under the management of the ministry.

The Special Prosecution Office has authorized the Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK) in Pristina, to carry out investigative actions in collecting and securing evidence to clarify the circumstances of the case.

Public officials of the Ministry of Agriculture are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of abuse of official position, abuse and fraud in public procurement, and falsification of documents, the press release states, reports KosovaPress.
