Citizens in Belgrade came out to the windows and terraces of their homes tonight with pipes, pots, horns and loudspeakers, creating a loud noise in protest and support for the students.

The "Noise Against Dictatorship" action brought together citizens from different parts of the city, but also from Serbia, who raised their voices against the government and expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation in Serbia.

Students have been protesting and setting up blockades across Serbia for more than two months now, following the collapse of a railway canopy in Novi Sad on November 1, 2024, in which 15 people lost their lives and several others were injured.
