The State Police informs that it has taken organizational and operational measures to guarantee public order and security during a rally requested by the "Alliance for the Protection of the Theater", today, June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. , near the Municipality of Tirana.

In implementation of the plan of measures, the State Police announces that today from 09:30 onwards, there will be a temporary blockage of the circulation of vehicles, on the main boulevard near the Municipality of Tirana. For this reason, we suggest that alternative routes be used until the end of the rally, such as the Middle Ring and the Great Ring.

During several previous gatherings, held by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, in the square in front of the Tirana City Hall, repeated cases of opposition to the police forces, the use and throwing of Molotov cocktails and other objects, in the direction of the Tirana City Hall, were recorded. seriously endangering the lives and health of police officers and the participants in the gatherings themselves.
