With banners "Minister reflect, start the dialogue", "We want the signing of the Collective Contract", "We want a dignified salary increase", "Don't deny us the contribution of the 90s", the United Union of Education, Science and Culture of Kosovo (SBASHK ), protested on Wednesday as a sign of dissatisfaction with the government.

With the demands for salary increases and the signing of the collective contract, hundreds of education workers demanded their implementation.

The head of this union, Rrahman Jasharaj, has stated that the Kurti Government and the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, "have continued with a wrong approach and with a hostile attitude towards the SBASHK and the unions".

Meanwhile, Jasharaj also said that Prime Minister Kurti has failed to fulfill his promises which he made before coming to power regarding the voice of the trade unions, as he said, 'Kurti has done the opposite, he has not listened to the voice of the trade unions '.

The protest started in front of the National Library in the capital, while it continued towards the Ministry of Education, where they requested a meeting with Minister Nagavci, which was not realized, and in the end they protested in front of the government.

The heads of trade unions from kindergartens, schools and universities participated in this protest.
