Football club Prishtina has won the case against the Football Federation of Kosovo since the latter had not licensed this club and this had excluded them from participating in European competitions.

The Sports Arbitration Commission has decided in favor of Pristina, saying that "The Lawsuit of the Football Club Prishtina Ltd. from Prishtina with no. 136/2023, dated 08.06.2023 of the KF Prishtina sh.pk against the Football Federation of Kosovo - FFK is BASED", reports KosovaPress.

COUNCIL FOR SPORTS ARBITRATION (CAS) OF THE KOSOVO OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

It has been DECIDED that the Lawsuit of the Football Club Prishtina Ltd. from Prishtina with no. 136/2023, dated 08.06.2023 of the KF Prishtina sh.pk against the Football Federation of Kosovo - FFK is GROUNDED.

Canceled Decision No. 539-2, dated 26.05.2023 of the second-level Commission of the Football Federation of Kosovo for the licensing of clubs for participation in UEFA competitions and Decision 534-2, dated 19.05.2023 of the Commission of the Football Federation of Kosovo for licensing clubs for participation in UEFA competitions.

Meanwhile, after winning this case, Prishtina has warned that it will seek compensation for material and moral damage and damage to the club's image.

"FC Prishtina announces that after this illegal decision of the Licensing Commission of FFK for non-licensing of FC Prishtina, legal avenues are opened to seek compensation material damage, moral damage and damage to the image of the club", it is further stated in the announcement with the club from the capital.
