At the state reception marking Kosovo's independence, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said that "arm by arm with our allies we will move forward."

At this reception, Osmani called on everyone to work with dedication for this land, for which blood was shed.

President Osmani said that Kosovo has moved forward, and the youth are the ones who have taken it forward.

Osmani added that it is necessary to prove to the whole world that Kosovo is a success story.

He added that Albania will always be close to Kosovo.

"Albania and Kosovo, the Albanian factor in the region, are loyal allies of the US and the EU. Dedicated allies of Euro-Atlantic values. We want these countries to review their decisions and also the EU to lift the sanctions that have been unfairly imposed on Kosovo. Peace, freedom and democracy are realities that must always be protected with all our strength. Albania will always be by Kosovo's side. Our cooperation is a responsibility," Begaj added.

Meanwhile, the country's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, stated that Kosovo guarantees and implements the rights of minorities, especially the Serbian minority, while according to him, the citizens of the Presheva Valley are treated inappropriately.

Kosovo has also been confronted by systematic, hybrid, and recently kinetic warfare from Serbia, he added.

The children's choir from North Mitrovica, as well as various singers and personalities, were also present at this state reception.
