In the absence of a quorum, the meeting of the Commission for Human Rights, in which the petition of the Kosovo Police Union was to be considered, failed to be held. This is because the deputies from the majority were absent.

However, the chairman of this commission, Duda Balje, together with the other opposition MPs who were present, decided to hold a public hearing.

Balje said that despite the lack of a quorum, the Police Union will be respected.

The President of the Kosovo Police Union, Imer Zeqiri, has again listed the demands of the Police that are written in the petition.

Among other things, Zeqiri has proposed that no legal violations be committed in this regard, as he said, they are forced to realize the rights of the Police by the Court's decisions.

Meanwhile, the vice president of the union, Avni Hoti, has addressed complaints to the position and the opposition for the actions they are taking against the KP.

Hoti has called not to make a political case about the Kosovo Police.

The deputy, Balje, also agreed with this. She called on the government to take seriously the demands of the Kosovo Police.

Meanwhile, the deputy from PDK, Ariana Musliu-Shoshi, responded to Hoti, saying that everything the Police have today, are from past parties.

The MPs Marigona Geci from LDK and Albana Bytyqi from AAK were also present at the meeting. Meanwhile, the five deputies of the LVV parliamentary group, Arjeta Fejza, Fatmire Kollçaku, Labinotte Demi, Drita Millaku, Nasuf Bejta, were absent from the meeting of this committee.
