The Kosovo Police has today given new details about the death of the American citizen at the Ski Center in Brezovica.

The 24-hour report states that she was found by search and rescue teams dead in the place called "Eagle's Nest".

According to her husband, she is suspected to have been caught in the snow avalanche.

With the decision of the prosecutor, the dead body of the victim was sent to IML for autopsy.

"Skiing Center, Brezovica 13.02.2024 - 15:35. A female American citizen has been found by search and rescue teams without signs of life in the place called "Eagle's Nest". The victim, according to her husband (a British citizen), with whom they were skiing together, is suspected to have been trapped by the snow avalanche. By decision of the prosecutor, the dead body of the victim was sent to the IML for an autopsy", the police announcement states.
