The Ambassador of Kosovo in Rome, Lendita Haxhitasim, together with the mayor of the Municipality of Tolentino in the Marche region, Mauro Sclavi Sindaco, as well as the president of the "Eagles' Nest" Diaspora Association, Gëzim Gashi, yesterday inaugurated the Holy Mother Teresa Monument in Tolentino .

The bronze statue, made by the sculptor from Kosovo Naim Spahiu, is a gift of the Gashi family to the city of Tolentino, as a sign of thanks and gratitude for the community of Tolentino.

Otherwise, the community of Tolentino during the war in Kosovo in 1999 helped the Kosovar compatriots with aid, which Gëzim Gashi personally sent to Kosovo, the Embassy of Kosovo in Rome announces.
