The vote counting process has been completed in 14 municipal counting centers (MCCs) for the municipalities of Deçan, Kamenica, Novobërdë, Obiliq, Shtërpcë, Suhareka, Viti, Junik, Mamushë, Hani i Elezit, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot and North Mitrovica.

As of 16:00 PM, 63.60% of polling stations have been counted, respectively 1 out of a total of 611, the Central Election Commission announced.

At 16:00, the counting process also began for the municipalities of Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin Potok.

Overall, the counting process is ongoing in 24 municipal counting centers.

On February 9, regular parliamentary elections were held in Kosovo, where according to preliminary results from the CEC, out of 99.72 percent of the votes counted, the Vetëvendosje Movement leads with 40.84 percent, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 22.05 percent, the Democratic League of Kosovo with 17.67 percent, and AAK-NISMA-Conservators-Intellectuals-Ideal with 7.45 percent.

The Vetëvendosje Movement has announced that it will form the government alone as the winning party in the elections, while PDK, LDK, and AAK have rejected the possibility of entering a governing coalition.
