Loriana has ended her Olympic journey after losing in the second round to Ukraine's Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko. In the first match she won against Metka Lobnik from Slovenia. Loriana is the last judoka who competed on the Olympic judo team from Kosovo.

This was another extremely successful performance for the judo team that competed with five judokas, Distria Krasniqi, Nora Gjakova, Akil Gjakova, Laura Fazliu and Loriana Kuka, KosovaPress reports.

Distria Krasniqi grabbed the silver medal, while Loriana Kuka won the bronze. Akil Gjakova, Nora Gjakova and Loriana Kuka failed to enter the medal zone.

Anyway, history has been made, Kosovo has already secured five elite medals from three participations in the Olympic Games.
