Paulo Fonseca is expected to line up his Milan team in a 4-2-3-1 system against Lecce, with Tammy Abraham in charge and Alvaro Moratas on the bench. The Reds beat their city rivals Inter on Sunday night, while Lecce have just one win in their opening five games and were knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Sassuolo earlier this week.

Milan are without the injured Marco Sportiello, Alessandro Florenzi, Ismael Bennacer, Davide Calabria and Noah Okafor. Morata is not fully fit, so Abraham is expected to start in attack with Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek behind him.

Morata's slight injury will force Fonseca to switch back to the 4-2-3-1 system after beating Inter with a 4-4-2 formation. Matteo Gabbia will start again in the center of defense, leaving Strahinja Pavlović on the bench, according to KosovaPress.

AC Milan visit defending Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday in their second Champions League game of the season.

Milan vs Lecce - possible formations

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Emerson Royal, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Abraham.

Leche (4-4-2): Falcone; Dorgu, Gaspar, Baschirotto, Gallo; Morente, Ramadani, Coulibaly, Banda; Rebić, Krstović.
