President Vjosa Osmani, today accepted the credentials from the new non-resident ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Yousaf Junaid, whom she congratulated for the task and expressed the hope that bilateral relations will be further intensified during his mandate.

With Ambassador Junaid, as it was announced in the communiqué, Osmani also talked about the deepening of economic cooperation and the potential of increasing cooperation in other spheres of mutual interest.

"President Osmani thanked Pakistan for supporting Kosovo, especially in the process of membership in international organizations, in which case Ambassador Junaid confirmed his country's support in this regard. In relation to the current political and security developments, President Osmani has emphasized that the institutions of the Republic continue to be committed to lasting peace and stability," it was announced in the communique.

Osmani thanked Ambassador Junaid for the unreserved support that Pakistan has offered to Kosovo throughout all the important processes that Kosovo has gone through.
