The Serbian Center Party (SRCE) today called on the military leadership and the military security services to testify about the claims of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuçiq for the existence of a "strong loyal wing" within the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

In the statement, they assess that it is a "paramilitary structure" whose existence "contradicts the Constitution" and which represents "the antithesis of the defense forces created by law", writes Danas.

"Loyalists" are rightly compared to Nazi paramilitary formations, because, as we were informed by the head of state, they defend the ideas of blood oath, promote the fight against imaginary enemies of the state, seek to settle accounts with students and graduates, professors, teachers, citizens, all those who protest and who demand justice and law", announced the SRCE party.

They assessed that "the Serbian public is waiting to hear what the military leadership thinks about an organized group that is a threat to the constitutional order and security of the country".

"Why is our army silent?" Turning their heads to the side, will they allow the 'loyalists' to grow into combat units of one party and one leader, something akin to the combat units of the SS,” the SRCE party asked.
