The Assembly has not approved the resolution of the Democratic Party of Kosovo addressing the findings of the Report of the American Department of State (DASh). 58 MPs abstained, two votes were for and one against.

On the agenda of today's plenary session was also the review of the statement on the relations of the Republic of Kosovo with the United States of America.

The discussion on this point was raised on May 2 of this year, but it was not possible to vote on this resolution.

This statement was supposed to be presented by the deputy of PDK, Xhavit Haliti, but he was not present at the session.

"Mr. Haliti has an objective family reason why he is not here. His mother passed away. So, on behalf of the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, we express our condolences to the deputy Haliti to him and his family. I believe that this resolution will be dealt with when it comes to the Assembly and this statement will be harmonized with the other parliamentary groups".
said Speaker Glauk Konjufca.

With 61 votes in favor, the Assembly has approved in principle the draft law on the management of water resources.
