A foreign citizen has died in Brezovica, where the cause of this incident was the slide of a snow avalanche.

For KosovaPress, the Kosovo Police has confirmed the case that a person is suspected to have died in the Ski Center in Brezovica.

The police spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli, told KosovaPress that the incident happened in the place called "Eagle's Nest".

"On 13.02.2024, around 15:35, we received information that a person is suspected to have died while skiing at the Ski Center in Brezovica, in the place called "Eagle's Nest". It is suspected that the cause of this incident was the slide of a snow avalanche. Police and rescue teams are there and we will let you know in time for more information. The victim is a female, a foreign citizen, aged about 54 years," Veseli told KosovaPress.
