The Mayor of Obiliq, Xhafer Gashi, together with the municipal staff, paid homage at the memorial plaque of the nation's failures in Obiliq, as a sign of respect and gratitude for the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Kosovo.

During the ceremony, Mayor Gashi bowed for a few moments before the statue, expressing his respect for those who sacrificed themselves for the future of the country.

The tribute was followed by a minute of silence as a sign of respect for the martyrs, emphasizing that their memory and contribution will always remain part of the national identity and an inspiration for future generations.

After the tributes to the mayor, a solemn session will be held at the Obiliq Municipality building.
