The Kosovo police have given details of the fight between three people in Peja, where as a result one of them died and two others were arrested.

According to the Police, today at 14:45 p.m., the police were notified of a case of a fight between several people that happened on the Bujani Conference street in Peja.

"The police patrols immediately responded to this notification by reacting quickly to the scene. From the information provided, it has been understood that three people were involved in this fight: EM, (year of birth 1995, Kosovar male) was injured (suspected by a sharp tool-knife) and was sent for medical treatment to the Pejë Regional Hospital. As a result of the injuries received, according to EM doctors, he died. The police arrested the suspect KS, (year of birth 1998, Kosovar male) who was also injured and was sent for medical treatment. Also, the police have arrested the second suspect who is involved in this case: LM, (year of birth 1988, Kosovar male). The police at the scene dealt with securing evidence and witnesses (interviewed two witnesses). The guardian prosecutor and all relevant units have also arrived at the scene", the announcement states.

The victim of the case was sent for autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Prishtina. Meanwhile, the two suspects, by decision of the prosecutor, will be sent to detention for 48 hours.
