Milan will be eyeing Alvaro Morata, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic in the Champions League first leg against Federico Chiesa's Liverpool at the San Siro tonight from 21pm.

The Reds must face without the injured Marco Sportiello, Alessandro Florenzi, Ismael Bennacer and Malick Thiaë, while Luka Jovic has not been included in their UEFA list.

Davide Calabria has returned to group training and is expected to start as a right defender instead of Emerson Royal, according to KosovaPress.

Fikayo Tomori and Morata were rested in Saturday's 4-0 win over Venezia in Serie A but are expected to start against the Reds. The Spain international has made two substitute appearances since joining the Reds last summer and will start for the first time tonight.

On the other hand, Italian Chiesa is available for Liverpool and has been called up for the first time. However, the Fiorentina and Juventus star is expected to start on the bench and could make his official debut with the Premier League giants as a substitute.

These are the possible formations:

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Morata

Liverpool (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, van Dijk, Robertson; MacAllister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Luis Diaz; Diogo Jota.
