MASHTI launches the package "Thematic modules for child protection"

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has launched the package of modules for child protection, supported by Care International in the Balkans, the organization SIT and the YMCA, through funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation. This package contains 12 modules, which deal with the issue of protecting children online, promoting gender equality, preventing domestic violence, child trafficking, hate speech, early marriages, etc.

At the launch ceremony of the "Thematic module for the protection of children", the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, evaluated the publication of this material as an important event, since according to her, it paves the way for institutional support in the protection of each child.

The organization for the Information System of the Market in Kosovo (SIT) also supported the realization of this package with modules for child protection.


The executive director of the organization, Kadri Gashi, while thanking all those who have contributed to the realization of this project, said that they aim to enable young people to promote healthy, non-violent and gender-equal lifestyles.

Meanwhile, the YMCA organization also provided support in the creation of these modules.

The executive director of this organization, Dorina Gllogjani, emphasized that through this handbook, young people and teachers will have the opportunity to benefit and be healthy contributors to society.

The representative of Care International Balkans in Kosovo, Rita Berisha, spoke about the program in general.
