In today's session where the four years of Albin Kurti's government are being discussed, the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci has been criticized by the opposition for the issue of food for the soldiers of the Kosovo Security Force.

Regarding this, Maqedonci said that at no time were the soldiers of Kosovo left without food.

According to him, the new concept of sustainability offers higher quality food at a lower cost.

"Normally, there was a difficulty in the first days when we changed the concept of food and this came about because we stopped a phenomenon that has damaged the army for years, that of awarding emergency contracts," he said.

After him, the head of the parliamentary group of the PDK, Abelard Tahiri, reacted, who said that they received the notification about the lack of food from the letter of the commander of the KSF, Bashkim Jashari.

"We did not discover the scandal regarding the food of the Kosovo army, we were informed by General Bashkim Jashari - the commander of the Kosovo army, who threatened to suspend all military activities if the issue of food is not fixed. This is where we were informed about the lack of food", he emphasized.
