Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, today inaugurated the Main Center of Family Medicine (QKMF) in Mamushë, this important investment for the improvement of health services worth 757 thousand 608 euros.
Prime Minister Kurti said that they will continue to invest in health infrastructure.
"We will offer quality services and dignified conditions, both for our professionals and for our citizens without distinction. Other investments, specifically here in Mamushë, are not missing, and will never be missing, but they will be added anyway", he said.
The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, emphasized that the opening of the main Family Medicine Center in Mamushë will bring health care as close as possible to citizens, making access to these services easier and faster.
"Primary health care is the most important part of our health system and investments in this part are very, very important. Today we are opening the HCMF in Mamushë and as the Prime Minister mentioned, there are four other centers that are being worked on in the municipalities of the Republic, with the majority investment from the Ministry of Health", said Minister Vitia.
He added that in addition to investments in infrastructure, they are also continuing with investments in equipment, vehicles and ambulances, to make it easier for citizens to access health services.
The KKMF inaugurated today will offer laboratory services and diagnostic services, and is equipped with the X-ray machine, which was provided as a donation from the Japanese Embassy.
It has two rooms for administering intravenous therapy, pharmaceuticals and suitable conditions for the medical staff. In addition to other services, it also offers dental services.
