Liverpool's players continue their winning streak in the Premier League and remain firmly in first place. Arsenal follow in the footsteps of the Anfield team by taking three difficult points against Wolves on the road, playing with one less player.

Arne Slot's team was clearly the better side in the 3-0 win over Ipswich Town, thus achieving their 16th victory in this season's competition in the strongest English football league, while for Ipswich Town this was their 13th defeat.

The fate of the match and the three important new points in the title race were secured in the first 45 minutes.

The first goal was scored in the 11th minute through Dominik SzoboszlaiI after an assist from Konate. Egyptian star Mohamed Salah increased the lead to 2:0 in the 35th minute after an assist from Dutchman Cody Gakpo. The latter one minute before the end of the first half deepened the lead to 3:0.

The Dutchman scored his second goal of the match and the fourth for the 'Reds' in the 66th minute, after an assist from Arnold. The visitors scored the consolation goal in the 90th minute through Jacob Greaves, after an assist from Julio Enciso.

After 22 rounds, the team from "Anfield" leads the table with 53 points, but with one game less. Arsenal is ranked second with 47, Nottingham Forest has 44 points in third position, Newcastle United 41. Ipswich Town remains in the danger zone, in 18th position with 16 points.

In today's other matches, Bournemouth destroyed Nottingham Forest 5:0, Brighton suffered at home to Everton 0:1, Southampton suffered in front of their own spectators from Newcastle United 1:3. Wolves suffered at home to Arsenal 0:1.

Mikel Arteta's team struggled to get going in this match, but they secured three important points in the title race with a goal from Riccardo Calafiori in the 74th minute. The Emirates team were reduced to a man down in the 43rd minute when Lewis-Skelly was sent off.
