The municipality of North Mitrovica has announced that today the work has been completed to remove a cafeteria which over the years has developed illegal activity and without any action being taken by the officials of the inspectorate of the previous government.

The action was undertaken as part of the release of public spaces from occupation, which are for use by citizens.

The municipality of North Mitrovica warns that it will continue with the release of all spaces that hinder free movement and endanger citizens, as it calls on businessmen to follow legal procedures for the use of spaces where they do not hinder the movement of citizens.

"We thank the citizens for the cooperation with the local government, and at the same time we encourage them to inform the municipal bodies about any irregularities they see in the city", concludes the announcement of the Municipality of North Mitrovica on Facebook.
