The special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, reacted after last night's attack in the north of the country.
"Those who are responsible for sabotaging Kosovo's critical infrastructure must be held accountable," Lajçak wrote while sharing the reaction of the head of the EU office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav.
On the evening of November 29, an explosion occurred in the village of Varagë in the municipality of Zubin Potok, in the northern part of Kosovo.
The explosion damaged the water channel of Ibër-Lepenci.
The Kosovo authorities have stated that the attack is criminal and terrorist and comes from gangs orchestrated from Belgrade.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the attack was aimed at damaging the infrastructure "perhaps the most important one we have".
From Ibër-Lepenc, water is supplied from Lake Ujman to several cities in Kosovo, as well as the Energy Corporation of Kosovo.
